Cancellations & Refunds: At MyCampingDirect, we take pride in offering some of the best return policies available. You can cancel your order anytime before it ships without any charges (with some exceptions for custom orders; please see details below).

Cancellations (Before Order Ships)

If you need to cancel your order, please reach out to us as soon as possible so we can process a full refund before your order is dispatched. You can contact us during business hours at (820) 444-7155, or email us anytime at support@mycampingdirect.com.

Cancellations of Custom Orders

Please note that custom or made-to-order items cannot be canceled or refunded since these products are manufactured specifically for your order. 

Once you place your order, production begins, and your warranty will ensure you receive a fully functional product. If you're unsure whether your order is custom or made-to-order, don’t hesitate to contact us.

All sales for custom-made and made-to-order products are final.

Refunds and Returns

You may exchange your product if needed. However, you, the customer, are responsible for any shipping costs related to returns and exchanges.

Not all orders can be returned once they have been shipped, as we purchase our products directly from the manufacturer. If the manufacturer does not allow returns, we won’t be able to facilitate it. This may vary by product, so please contact us for specifics regarding your item.

Due to rising LTL/freight shipping costs, any returns will incur a 25% cancellation fee, in addition to return shipping costs. If you're replacing the product, we can often help cover some of those costs based on the product.

Customers have 30 days from the delivery date to initiate a return. However, please verify the specific return policy for the brand on the product page, as it supersedes this general 30-day return policy.

Shipping Times

We strive to deliver your order promptly. We provide estimated shipping times on product pages based on information from our suppliers and freight companies, but these may change without notice due to supply chain challenges (like metal production delays, shipping demand, and labor issues).

Delays may be unavoidable and are beyond My Camping Direct’s control. We appreciate your patience during these times and thank you for your understanding.

By purchasing from My Camping Direct, you acknowledge the terms of the Exchange Agreement:

  • I understand that I’m inspect the package upon delivery and report any damage within 24 hours, including taking photographs.

  • I understand that I’m responsible for the return shipping costs if I need to return a product.

  • I acknowledge that products must be returned unused and unopened, and a restocking fee may apply.

  • I understand once an order leaves the warehouse, I cannot receive a full refund.

  • I understand if returning an order that has shipped, I will be liable for return shipping fees and a restocking fee, typically around 20%.

  • I understand that shipping estimates on product pages may change due to factors outside of My Camping Direct's control.

  • I agree not to cancel my order or initiate a chargeback due to delays or incorrect estimates caused by outside factors. (such as manufacturing and/or logistical constraints of our partner companies)

Damages

Please inspect your item(s) upon arrival, if you find any damage, please note it at the time of delivery. To process an insurance claim for damaged items, send photos of the damage, the box, and the SKU, along with a brief description, to support@mycampingdirect.com within 24 hours of arrival. Claims related to freight damage must be reported within this time frame.

Warranty

Warranty terms vary by manufacturer—please refer to individual product pages for specifics. Warranty claims pertain to damages occurring from use over time. If an item is damaged upon arrival and not reported within 30 days, it is ineligible for warranty coverage.

Returns

At My Camping Direct, customers generally bear all return shipping charges or reconsignment fees incurred due to customer errors, unless otherwise noted on the product page.

Most of our products are covered by warranty policies that ensure you receive a fully functioning product without additional costs incurred on your part. Please check individual product pages for details.

BOGO Promotions

For Buy One Get One (BOGO) promotions, both items must be returned for a full refund. If only one item is returned, you will receive either a replacement for that item or store credit for its individual value. If your order has already shipped, you are responsible for return shipping charges and may also face a restocking fee, depending on the manufacturer. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card used for the purchase.

Chargebacks

Our dedicated team is here to assist you and address any concerns you may have. We strive to make our policies as fair as possible, believing they are among the best in the industry. We are on your side and will respond promptly to provide the best possible resolution.

Please be aware that any customer who files a fraudulent chargeback may be held criminally accountable for theft. If you have not received a product or have encountered an issue with a product you did receive, please reach out to us so we can help resolve your concerns.
